She handles emptying a house with sensitivity and efficiency…even the junk. Our mother had many religious items that we had qualms about selling and these were put in a glass case to maintain reverence. She displayed vintage items cleverly and has a great following of shoppers. She knows what things are worth and was generous with her advice and led us to a reliable cross country shipping company for several fragile items as well as a local piano mover who we could trust with an antique player. Our neighbors were treated very well which meant a lot to us. This was so much more than just an estate sale…she really earns her share!

We just purchased a gorgeous mid century bedroom set at an estate sale run by Michele this week-end. She worked with us to get them delivered, while in the midst of being torn in a million different directions by customers asking for prices. I found her prices to be fair and the sale to be organized and friendly. I'm definitely going to check out her other sales now that I'm on her mailing list.

We highly recommend Michelle Markovich as an estate liquidator. Our family hired her to help with an estate sale. She knows who is interested in what and calls them. In my case she called over a scrap metal dealer and cleaned out a shed. The estate was small in comparison with most she deals with but she did a very professional job. Although the sale was scheduled for a weekend, she started selling on Thursday. She will keep separate track of items that you want to sell that are not part of the estate and at the end show you her "books" of your sale. In my case she was still selling stuff even after the "book" on the sale closed. After the sale she will arrange for a donation pickup of all unsold items if you wish her to. She will also advise you of how to get rid of items that no one will take. i.e. old propane tanks, paint, etc. We think she did a great job.

2/23/2012 I have been attending Michelle's estate sales for many years. I always find her professional and knowledgable. She is one of the hard-working people who can be fair to both her selling client and her buying clients. Over the years I have found wonderful treasures that are now part of my household. Michelle ran the estate sale for my grandmother's house in Mid 2013. The process was straight and to the point. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and made the process entirely stress free. I had a garage full of antique "stuff" that I wanted to sell - some nice pieces, some garbage. Within the first few minutes of meeting Michelle, I was impressed by her experience, her knowledge and her focus on understanding my objectives. Over the course of the next week , I also learned that Michelle is: 1) Hard-working & organized: Late into the night, she would go through all the pieces herself, assess them, organize them and present them. She would very clearly communicate with us the plan, schedule and action items remaining. 2) Great with people: Michelle not only understands the history and value of each piece), she also clearly loves working with people and understanding their needs. She has a loyal client and customer base that have worked with her for years, and they keep on coming back - not only a testament to Michelle's great antique finds, but her ability to match them up with the right owner! She's a pleasure to work with!! 3) Knows her business: Michelle can very quickly assess the value/condition of an item, its historical context and how it fits in with current trends. She was able to sift through the junk and find some exquisite and very rare antique finds (glass lamps, vintage brochures, antique dolls, old photographs) which makes her estate sales such a treasure trove! In short, Michelle is the best and I would give her 6 stars if I could!
